Thank you, people, whoever you are, wherever you are. What's really frustrating is that this worked until a couple of days ago. I have gone to several websites, and either they assume that there is a high level of abstraction and do not specify port #, protocol, authentication method, or encryption method, or else they give the values I am using. I'm using that as a workaround, so my troubles are annoying, and not stopping. If I use Google's web-based Gmail account, then that works fine. But I get "password not available" error messages from Evolution. I even get messages from Google telling me that somebody is logging in to my account. I know this because if I enter an incorrect value, I get immediate feedback that the value is wrong. Oauth2 times out, and if I use a password, then I pass all of the passwords, recognizing deformed characters and testing my cellphone. I have tried checking for supported types, and only password and Oath2 are allowed (all other types are struck through). I have encryption set to TLS on a dedicated port. This used to work, I have thousands of messages in evolution. Service: am trying to use the Evolution mail client and it is not connecting to Gmail. In my case I got a very similar error like gcloud projects list User Config Directory: Īctive Configuration Path: Relevant gcloud info output: Google Cloud SDK I have reviewed anything that was updated to see what the culprit may be but did not find anything substantial.Īny additional avenues I can use to further debug or any method I can use to "reset" anything that gcloud may touch would be greatly appreciated! If I had to guess what caused the issue was something new I installed or a regular update to an existing tool. bash_profile removed so none of my shell customizations would be a factor. Running gcloud init in a shell with with my. However, during one of the proposed solutions of deleting and then adding back a Gmail account, I discovered that in System Preferences / Internet Accounts, I cant do that. Running gcloud init and using a different browser. Google Authentication in Internet Accounts I have Monterey (12.4) and have a similar problem to others, namely Gmail accounts not working with Apple Mail.Compared the contents of ~/.config/gcloud/ on a working machine with what is in the same dir on my non-working local account, including what is in the sqlite files (nothing jumps out as missing/broken).Ran gcloud init after following the uninstall directions.Downloaded the gcloud archive that includes a python interpreter. Here are the steps I have tried that have been unsuccessful in getting gcloud to work again: All that I know is that it is something specific to my regular, daily use environment in my local account on my Mac. I am at a loss as to what could be causing the issue at this point. I also created a new local account on my Mac and was able to setup gcloud successfully with the same Google account. I can login successfully on another machine and via gcloud in docker. WARNING: Listing available projects failed: HttpError accessing : response:, content The first part of gcloud init succeeds and I get the "You are now authenticated with the Google Cloud SDK!" web page but the subsequent step that prompts you to set a default project fails with this error: You are logged in as: ]. I then revoked my credentials, backed up my ~/.config/gcloud/ directory and then removed it to attempt to start fresh with gcloud init. Expected OAuth 2 access token, login cookie or other valid authentication credential. For example: gcloud projects listĮRROR: () UNAUTHENTICATED: Request is missing required authentication credential. But, any subsequent gcloud command failed with an error. I ran gcloud auth login which was successful and no error generated. After setting up the gcloud cli months ago on my Mac and it working without issue, a few days ago gcloud generated an error because it said I was not authenticated.
